Each year, Illinois Institute of Technology celebrates its graduates with a commencement ceremony that marks both an academic milestone and a deeply personal moment for thousands of attendees. For 2024, IIT sought a partner who could bring elevated production value, expert coordination, and flawless execution to this large-scale event—delivered at a new venue, the Credit Union 1 Pavilion at UIC.

Our Role
Akire Events Agency served as the lead event producer, managing the commencement from concept to close. From overseeing logistics and vendors to coordinating the on-site experience and production timeline, our team ensured every detail reflected the significance of the day.
Working alongside AV Chicago/Show Ready, our trusted audio-visual partner, we brought IIT’s vision to life—on stage and behind the scenes.
