Vision & Voices: Women in Art, Music & Fashion

When global law firm Hogan Lovells partnered with akire productions to produce their ICW CCAC event, the goal was to create an experience that celebrated the creative power and cultural influence of women. With only 5 days to plan, akire delivered an unforgettable evening hosted at Boleo, that fused art, music, and fashion under the theme Visions & Voices: Women in Art, Music & Fashion.

The Experience

The evening brought together a powerful lineup of Chicago-based Black women artists and women owned businesses, with live musical performances, and fashion moments. The event environment featured:

  • Assembling visual art installations from Chicago-based women artists celebrating identity and creativity.
  • Live DJ with soulful music filled the rooftop with rhythm and emotion.
  • Fashion representatives in gifting the women a MZ Wallace Tote. The women were able to engage in accenting their purse silk scarf selections, and creating their own purse charm accessories. 
  • Boleo’s signature Latin-inspired cuisine, featuring shareable bites and vibrant flavors.
  • Curation of their own perfumes with atomize to be customized by an on site calligrapher 
  • Handcrafted cocktails and mocktails infused with tropical ingredients, designed to complement the creative energy of the evening.
